Welcome to the mad house. You know your face will ache from the big grin that comes as a free accessory.
    It's only a hobby!

My surf has 91000 KM done and its a 1995... I got a load of jap paperwork with it but cant understand what its about...

It runs smooth as you like but i got to thinking...Its 11 years old it may have had a timing belt at 5 years but not sure.. I am skint now but really think i should get timing belt done now just so i know it is not gonna snap.....

Garage i got it from had no record or knowledge of belt fitted... Goin through previous MOT certs the last owner did less than 5000km per year for three years...

        What do you think ???

          Aye,

Get the belt done. To be honest that's on my list of jobs to do on the truck this year.

          In order of priority :

          1) full service and cam belt
          2) waxoyl the underside
          3) 2" sus lift
          4) 2" body lift
          5) bigger tyres!

not meaning to hijack, but anyone an idea of the cost of each stage?

          looking forward to pics,

          Mart
