Toyota 4runner Recall

HAD A LETTER FROM TOYOTA H.O. IN EPSON, REGARDING A RE-CALL ON 4RUNNER STEERING ROD, MAY CRACK UNDER CONTINUOUS MANOEUVRING.
WAS DELIVERDED TODAY BY RESTERED MAIL.TUESDAY MARCH 7th.

MY 4RUNNER IS A 94 3.00 TD ON A M PLATE.

THOUGHT ALL YOU GUYS OUGHT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS ITEM !

hope they put new track-rod ends on free-of-charge - it they damage them removing the steering relay rod!

when one of you 'runner' owners go to get your freebe, can you ask 'wot about the surf owners' it would be nice to know the official standpoint!

Exactly,
Its in Yotas interests to sort out problems if we have them as its not gunna look good if 2 ton truks start regularly squashing things.

Would be down to Yota Japan to foot the bill, but it needs looking into.

Lets keep on top of this issue.
