    well dont tell terrie but i am thinking of a winch now

    i want to keep my full bullbars on so would a mounting plate for a winch be my best option guys and gals???
    and if so where does one buy said plate from?

    Pops.

    Yes mounting plate would do it, you can get them from TBR in Harwich. Fit Challenger, Warn winches etc.

        Do I assume that the mounting plate just bolts to relevant points on the chassis, and sticks out a bit at the front to mount a winch on?

        There must be a small portion of the grill or bumper to cut away, surely??

        Anyone got a pic or two of one of these mounting plates?

            I thought there were whinches with plates on the forum shop?

            But surely the plate just mounts the which, you need some brackets making up as well. I seem to recall there is a thread kicking about with some pictures of an installation on a Mk2 pickup (Tony's?) using the type of whinch and plate in the forum shop.

              someone will be along soon to put me right well hope so anyway
              got a winch in my sights now a 9500lb jobbie should do the trick
              but just need to mount it and try to keep my bullbars too

                              B****R forgot the whinch bumper ended yesterday AND missed out on pops bullbars .........Got to stop having to work night shift one week in 3
