advise please

hello im taking my truck to the garage tomorrow to have a new down pipe fitted just a bit worried about the machanic he wont give me a definite price because he say it could take from one to three hour just wondered if anyone knows how long it should take he charges £35 an hour.
any advise would be great.

If you mean the exhaust pipe from the turbo to the first box I believe that can be a bit of a bugger to remove as it's difficult to get at the bolts/nuts on the turbo flance.

with a potencial of £70 either way I think I would use a garage/supplier that would give me a quote and stick to it
