  • Crunch....

Last night Lottie came to pick me up from Haywards Heath train station in her MX-5. As she got to a new set of traffic lights in Burgess Hill, some kids in an unregistered, untaxed and un mot'd car went straight through a red light. She didn't even have time to brake and t-boned the kids car spinning it into a lamp post. They immediately legged it leaving Lottie with this:

I took Lottie to the hospital and she has whiplash injuries to her back but luckily is mostly ok - nothing cut or broken. The same can't be said for the car though...

Meanwhile the police set out with sniffer dogs to find the culprits. It clearly isn't going to help with an insurance claim if they find them

Tell Lottie to get well soon.

Let's hope the scroats get nabbed for it.

Glad Lottie bounced - the car can always be replaced, if not with another Anniversary Edition.

The scrotes need nailing to a wall.

                They need hanging!
                Hope shes ok.
If they get em she can claim compensation and whiplash is a ******* for the defendant because it can't be proved or disproved.

Hopefully the dog found them and had a good chew!!

It's a pity she wasn't driving the Surf. They probably wouldn't have walked away after being T-boned by that.

Thanks everyone! Lottie is still about the car but we are just glad the safety equipment prevented her from being seriously hurt. She is really suffering with her back, neck and shoulders which will no doubt continue for a week or so but should hopefully be ok by the wedding.

Linda - I asked Lottie about her email and she said yes she's been really behind getting back to everyone and that she will reply (if she hasn't done so already).
