At times like that you know there are some deserving cases for a long slow painfull death.

the kind of people who do this sort of thing are usually people who have nothing and are jealous of people who have something. their mentality is that, if someone can afford a load of old jags, then surely the owner can afford to repair them...
maybe a good way of making them see sense would be to send them to a place where people really have absolutely nothing, such as africa where they are starving. Maybe then they would realise that south wales has a lot more to offer than killing time by killing cars

                  Re

                  He must be gutted!

Bad, as it is, at least no-one was hurt and the damage was only material.

It would or could have been far worse if these dirtbags had of got the cars out on the streets.

Don't think gutted cut's it 30 years collecting and looking after
I bet he feels like his heart has been ripped out I hope he fixs them and the clubs he is surley involved with help him.
It would be sad if he was so crushed he sells them on in that state and breaks up what has been a obvious labour of love.

I think they missed a zero of of the £150k they said the collection was worth a couple of the XKs would get to that no probs. Where did yellow GT6 come from as well.

This is a disgrace, no doubt the plods were away filling speed cameras with film as it was in Gwent.

Does anyone know Newport....I'm not exactly shocked!

Those responsible should have their heads used to panel beat the reapirables back into shape.

I felt sick when I saw those XK120s, 140s and 150s. I used to marshall at the Jaguar XK Register rallies and knew the late Stuart Lightfoot, who was secretary of the XK Register. I probably met the owner of the trashed cars at some time or other.

If caught I guess that they will get a few hour community service and a slap on the wrist. Sorry what am I thinking. That would be assault and they could sue.
                        It's only a hobby!

This country is far too soft on idiots who do things like that. If we try to get our own back, we get into more trouble than them. It doesn't add up.
