only 3 days left

sadly, I only have 3 days left of 2nd gen surfing. i'm trying to empty the tank by using it for everything. Ain't it funny how long a tank lasts when you want to empty it?

The good news is that my 3rg Gen is waiting in the wings and will be mine on Friday.

Good luck with your new surf, we picked up our new 3rd gen last week, and so for are loving it. Like your goodself we changed from a 2nd to a 3rd gen, personally i think they drive far better and are a little less agricultural

Thanx Nosher. Has yours got the pop out TV system? does it do anything? the one in mine switches on and gets grey fuzz like a telly without an aeriel.
Of course, i would probably never use it but one likes the gadgets to at least do something eh

No TV fitted to mine,( i have been told that none of the TV's work in this country) but it has a cool stereo that flips over when you turn the car off !l
also the pop out reversing mirror keeps me amused for hours !

Nice, not sure if mine has a pop out reversing mirror. Don't think I actually reversed on the test drive!
Will find out soon enough.

Good news about your 3rd gen. If your passing past me work on Saturday call in i wouldn't mind a good look at it. Then i can see if its worth me doing an exchange or some thing.

Eyup Jim, Will do. you gotta drive a 3 litre 2nd or 3rd gen the change is amazing. Enjin prob the same. Power is well naughty after the 2.4

Hehe, similar story here, picking it up Saturday but I'll be going from 1st gen 2.0 to 3rd gen 3.4...easy tiger! Being local the tv etc works from the get-go too, not that I ever watch it but a bit of live sumo now and again ain't a bad thing.
