  • Panhard Rod Drop Bracket

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Panhard Rod Drop Bracket fairly cheap?

How necessary is a drop bracket for a 2" suspension lift, as some people say you don't need to drop the rod, others say you do?

I also wanted to know whether I will need to change all 4 shocks, or can I get away with just the rears? I'll be cranking the torsion bars as well, but not getting uprated ones, so will I need front shocks as well?

This is my Spring project. What better time to change the springs than Spring!!

    Thanks
    Dave

There's no need to drop the panhard rod for a 2" lift.
I just replaced my rear shocks, no problems.

Its one of those techincally correct, but in the real world doesn't matter issues.

I wouldn't do it straight away anyway, there is not point setting the axle position that exactly before letting the springs settle.

After a month or so see how far to one side the axle is and then decide if it bothers you enough to fit the drop bracket.

Kept my shocks as standard, but they will bottom out on full axle drop when jacking or offroading.

Still hasn't done my truck any harm. Its the driver that lets it down!
