the best pastie shop is in Hayle and it's called Philp's and you can even order some to take home and cook. And as for the cream teas just go to Tesco and but some scones jam and clotted cream and take back to where you are staying and enjoy with a nice cold beer

Dunno where Polperro is, but when we went to Bude in the summer, there was an amazing Pasty shop!!! I'll try to find the name, as they do mail order aswell. The pasty's are huge, i could hardly manage a whole one, and i'm famous for being able to destroy a large domino's pizza in one sitting.

I can confirm Philps is cracking - good sarnies and baps too, their giant pasty is a chalenge. Havnt been for a while but there was a home made pasty shop in porthleven that was good too, bit far from polpero/looe though
you could always stop at Ginsters on the way through at Gunislake
Note the road from Tavistock to Gunislake is closed for a couple of weeks - give it a miss - the diversion is Miiilllles!!
                        enjoy your visit
