Car Tax Question

Hi just a quick question ,
If i tax a vehicle at the Dvla is it done to 6 months to the day i tax it, or is it run from the beguinning of the new month. IE do i wait until 1st March or tax 27th of the month

starts 1st of each month..... some places will let you have new disc a few days before...... but if vehicle was/is untaxed before new period starts, new disc will only cover from start date......
there is NO honeymoon period.....

Basically you can tax a vehicle after the 15th of the month in which your current tax expires, for your tax to begin the 1st of the following month.

Taxing before the 15th loses a months tax.
