Help/Advice/Info on fitting a spoiler

Hi
Can anyone please give me any advice/info on fitting a roof spoiler?
I have tried a search on here but there are no threads on fitting one,I do not want to make a b---sup as it will not look right, so any help would be greatfully accepted (ie) pics or instruction.

I've fitted a few for people, its pretty straightfoward, just make sure to line it up first, get someone to hold it in place while you walk around and check its where you want from all angles, them mark where the holes need to be. Always stick a little masking tape on the body to make the marks on and drill through, this stops the drill slipping.

Remember to use a little silicone round the screws or a dab of paint to stop rust getting to the bare edges of the hole you drilled.

Measure everything twice, and drill once!

That'll be why I cant find one......I know you can buy them new but I'm a cheapskate


Any body got a pic of a truck with an underslung spare that has a spoiler fitted? I've trailed through the members rigs pages and all the trucks with spoilers seem to be rear mounted spares............

Thats because the bolts holding the spoilers on go right through the body and the nut is tightend from under the truck!
