Bust Sky+ box........

Anyone on here a Sky engineer?? My Sky+ box has just gone t**ts up, one year and ten days after it was installed....

Sky said to call the warranty people, to see if they'd honour the warranty, but I thought I'd just ask on here first..

It's like losing an arm, without it!!

Anyone a Digital box repairer??

Got up this morning, and ALL programs from the planner had been wiped.

There was a message to tell us to call the engineer.
Came home from work, and now it won't even switch on.

Did a forced system download, and it still wont turn on. Just sits there. Blummin thing!!!!!!

Unplug from the mains for two minutes, then reconnect.

Done that about 10 times.

Also, with power off, I've held the 'back up' button on the box, then powered up, which forces a software download, which takes 10 mins. That didn't make any difference either..

I've plugged my old 'standard' Sky box in for now, so at least we don't have to rely on 5 channels, but WE WANT OUR SKY+ BACK!!!!!!!!

5! you lucky bugger we're still stuck at 4. have promised our daughter that if she's good at school she can have cbeebies etc. not that i can see any benefit to me.
