  • 1st day off roading

    hi all,
heres some pics of my 1st trip off road at north yorkshire off road centre.
i really enjoyed it and both myself and the g/f`s father were suprised at what the surf could actually do off road with road tyres on.
we weren`t allowed to try some of the puddles as we were told it would be above the windows..

    cheers

it was a xmas/birthday pressie..think i`ll be trying out the langdale quest next.
i`ll enjoy travelling a distance off road more than going round the same area over n over but it was an eye opener, seeing what can be done in my toy.

That big puddle is the North Sea.

                  Glad you enjoyed it.
                  It's only a hobby!

Just be aware that your air filter comes out behind the n/s light and shouldn't go above the bumper otherwise water can be sucked into the turbo/engine

PS: have a look at the video section on the main window...think its still there of some of the trips [robin hoods bay etc]
                    Gaz

just watched the RHB video..looks alot warmer, dryer and less windy than this saturday when i went...looks like its more fun when there are a few surfs 2gether..
i wnet on sat morning and was just setting off back home(1hrs drive) when someone in a year old discovery turned up..wish i`d had time to follow him around to see how the surf compared..oh well maybe next time
                        ps ..not a newbie anymore
