Well, 97k and thar she blows! Not just the gasket but the whole head. I have a theory, call me mad, but I went through a car wash that day and remember thinking that the amount of prewash water was pretty damned amazing. I wonder if there was so much that it entered the turbo intake and flooded the head?

Suck it up and take it like a man, then get a proper head fitted, properly , and go and enjoy the truck for the rest of its life.
