KZN130 vs. KZN185 engines

Hello,

If the LN130 is the 2.4 TD engine, whats the difference between the KZN engines.

I didn't realise there were two different 3.0 litre engines.

The KZN185 is the intercooled engine.

Incorrect, the KZN185 is the 3rd gen, but it can be intercooled or not.

They are the same engines.

Some come intercooled in 3rd gens, not srue they have another number, all 2nd Gen 3.0TD Surfs have 1KZ/TE, 4Runners are 1KZ/T.

Probably been asked before, but is it a big job to fit an intercooler to a non-intercooled one and is it worth the hassle?

they're the chassis types, not engine types.

both have a 1kz-te with a few differences in plumbing etc.
