Video's on mobile phones

I've got a little vid on my mobile from my holidays, I've transfered it onto my puter, trouble is that it's in a funny format and won't play.
Does anyone know of a freeware program to convert a 3gp vidio file from a sony erricson W550i mobile ? to get it to work on windows media player.

If it's anything like mine (LG on 3) it will have saved it in MP4 format.

Take a look at in explorer in detail view and tell me what format it's saved in.

If it's MP4 then type MP4 player in Google.

Sorry just noticed the format is 3gp?

Try here - http://www.mrfreefree.com/free/3gp_players/1/# for a stand alone player instead of converting.

you could just use quicktime...
