  • Recaro Seats Retro Fit

    Hi guys, more help needed! I am thinking about fitting a set of front recaros to my LN130 , has anyone tried this? they are not recaros from another surf they would be purchased new from the appropriate dealer. Any help or advice anyone?

    Did the drivers seat on mine a while ago (also with a non Surf Recaro). The runners on the standard seat are an integral part of the seat and I didn't want to wreck the seat so I bought a pair of 'Surf Recaro' type runners and made a couple of adaptors to go from these to the seat. A Surf Recaro apparently has different fixings to an aftermarket unit. Bit of a pain but not that difficult.

      Thanks for that, the other thing i am going to do is try and position the runners so that i can get a bit more leg room.

        From memory the bit that goes between the runners and the seat is a bit of angle, so you can drill the holes in that where you want

          great as could do with a bit more room, going to take seats out this weekend and see exactly whats there etc.
