you'd have a tank in the attic where the water sits until the salt settles... then a pipe for the salt leading to a small pot in the kitchen cupbpoard.

So how long does it take to settle? just wondering how big a reservior you would need considering average consumption. But you might be onto a winner here. Just another niggle wouldn't all the extra salt make you thirsty and thus cause you to drink more water?

How about a tank in the loft full of Beer, probably get the kids to clean their teeth then.

Why don't we all have wells or rainwater storage tanks on our property and use that water for car washing, garden watering, laundry etc. It always seems a total waste that we use drinking quality water in this country to flush the bog.

4 hours car/runner washing !

Just got in from vaccum and washing Tam's Rav and my Golf . I looked at my poor dirty broken Runner and thought ''Might aswell do this one too'' .
Wow , it shines !! . Made sure I shook all the mud into next doors pathway .
As I got to change the engine it made sense to work on a clean motor and not have mud and grit fall in my eyes .

Also broken my 2nd jetwash in 3 yrs .
