It's cheap innit? Even if you removed the engine, you'd still make a profit in parts. Leather interior, m-tech suspension, alloys etc.

go for gold mate - gearbox knackered though. i dont suppose that matters too much.

they have problems with porus blocks... (the oil leaks through the cast block)

think it was a recall, but bloke i knew with one was advised by BMW dealer to get shot soon as poss, cos it hadn't been done and recall had expired

The problem was a nikasil problem as the cylinder liners suffered wear and the engine dies.

and...... if you fit that to a surf, the indicators will never work again....!!!!
