Dunno, but I've done 22,000 kms in the last year, and I doubt it was changed at the service the garage did when I bought it, so it's anyones guess how old it was....Originally posted by stevieboy
As Tony said, it did smell a bit burnt, and the gearchanges were nice and smooth on the way home, so I'd say it definately needed changing.
If you've had your truck any length of time, done a decent amount of mileage, or been towing a lot, it's probably worth doing it .It just does, OK?Comment

Did you do the diff oils as well?
Must admit mine did feel alot smoother after Tony did a complete fluids change.
Only two people touch my truck now, me (when I try to fix it), and Tony when he fixes what I break!Gone from 4x4 to 1x2Comment
