help unzipping

how do you unzip something that you have downloaded?

i have winace, but dont really know what im doing.

i just want to be able to read what i have downloaded.

if you can help, please do so in "dont know naff all about computer language"

Winrar is the best i have ever used, right click and extract here.
As far as i can remember as i`ve been using Linux for so long now.

If you are on Windows XP and its a Winzip [extension .zip) then double click on the file and then extract in the top left hand pane window.

If the file is .rar then you'll need WinRar

i use winace myself, it unzips anything i've tried so far inc rar files.
right click the compressed file, select 'extract to', select a location and hit ok. then go to the selected location and double click the now expanded file........... and away you go....
