Nobody knows, you run out of diesel before the needle stops moving......

I'd be suprised if it tops 100. Officially I think I've read its about 95ish. Depends how close to the red line you have the bottle to get, if it was me, not very for any length of time!

I chickened out when the speedo said 95. It wasn't pleasant at that speed though. Real seat of the pants stuff.

Didn't notice that! Consider it moved in the interest of tidyness.

Depends on what tyres you have, M/T's, A/T's or Road also what pressure you have in them and if you have a roof rack or wind diflectors!

I think it may also depend on whether you have any mechanical sympathy at all. Surfs aren't for going fast.

                    They are for going comfortably
In my case they are for going heavily laden
They can be for going anywhere

But they aren't for going fast. If you want to go fast get a supra.

a 3.0 litre will do over 100mph... and i can confirm... IT'S SCARY!!

(i saw it on a video!... about 115 tops i reckon but the professional driver on a closed track didn't do much over 110, i'd imagine the steering was quite shaky!... cough!.)
