  • winch bumper?

    Just wondering if anybody has built a winch bumper as aqfter reading about bull bars ect I was thinking of getting one custom made using channel or heavy duty steel tubing?
    To do this I was going to mount it to the chassis were the air con is ?

      I made this one on my pickup.....



      Just 3" box, a 3" hoop from an autojumble, bit of welding and some black Hammerite ! I'm gonna be making one for the "Project 2 Door Surf" when its time.

        I've read about it on here somewhere, Can't find the post though. It is possible but not sure on the hows and why's.. I thik it was either danno or TonyN that did it

        EDIT: Ok tony you beat me to it! I knew i'd seen one somewhere!! wasn't there a write up aswell though, maybe not for yours..

          Nah, I built that truck long before the forum was around, some guy 'op north' built one around the original bumper, Jotto knocked one up for Koi's red pickup recently and a few others have done them.
