Rear Window Cracked

As the title sugests, went out to start the surf yesterday and noticed the crack while s****ing ice off, near the bottom going across.
Called insurance company and they sent a guy to look at it. He said its been cracked from the inside and needs replacing will take 4/5 days to get one in, cost aprox 4/500 squid. Glad I took out fully comp have only got to pay first £60.
Anyway lesson learned,be carefull when helping daughter to move house,do not overload the rear of surf.

i thought the rear window would be toughened, not laminate??

I've seen one crack where it wasn't wound down properly, about a 1" sticking up, guy swung a box in, caught the window....Bang! lots of window bits.

I've never loaded up without the window all the way down after seeing that!

oops,man turned up,different to the one who first checked it, guess what.....glass not cracked at all,it was the film that tints the window.
So now au...glass are stuck with a rear window.
