They're legal as long as there is a red reflector .

            are you serious?

just make sure the drill doesn't catch and snap in the lock.

The ones TonyN sells don't have a red reflector and the clear/red ones are only clear on the indicator. Wonder why they don't make them all clear but with a red reflector. That would make sense wouldn't it???

they have a red lamp in them though.

this shines red light through the clear lens

                    the indicators have orange lamps.

the relector is sliver no matter what colour lamp or lens you have.

looks a bit gay to me.

suppose you have anodised valve caps with the toyota logo on there too?

tho, I do like the roof bars, i want some of those.

Before drilling you want to cover the roof and side of vehicle that you are drilling on as the hot swarf from the lock will stick to the paintwork and then rust to it .

I used to fit sunroofs and that was wot we had to do before we started any work .

Its all about the pimp! You can put a reflector anywhere else on the back of the car, I've even seen sticky ones that will fit over the space on the lens where the reflector should be. but the guys who want clear only don't have to put up with a bit of red!
