I would be seriously tempted if I had not just had to have the Snoop-de-Ville's engine rebuilt...

I reckon it's smart! but lose the bull bar and the mudflaps, take off the side steps and fit a rear spoiler, and it would be even better.

              Sigh, :shaking head:

The only reason to buy a diesel is cos of the price of petrol! Nothing sounds as sweet as a V8 motor.

Absolutely! I want my truck to sound like a TVR!

Straight sixes sound good as well. Very smooth.

BTW. Why do people spend all that money on a truck and leave the arse end saggy?

If its the same seller then its probably to much money or people are scared of it, if the new owner is selling it already either the fuel bill is to high, or there is something dodgy with it.

true - no one who is buying a surf on recommendation etc etc is going to have one with a v8 stuck in it first time round unless they are just looking for an interesting car.
one of us though would love it!

MMMMmmmmmmm, gas conversion would add around £800 to the finish cost but would make it a viable everyday runner.

I have to say it look sreally tempting! I'd swap my 2.4td for the towing power in that baby.

Although it would difficult to sneak agri diesel or veg oil into the tank!

Still the v8 noise and all the uummmppph

                              V8s - Gotta love 'em

but ... they hate water. Particularly Rover V8s for some reason.
