At long last Chaz Davies has landed a semi-factory Aprilia ride for this season with Team Campetella.
He`s struggled for the past few seasons on inferior machinery, though he has shown his potential with a superb fifth place in the 2004 Valencia Grand Prix on a bike so underpowered, compared to the bikes he was up against.
He deserves this chance after turning down big money to race in BSB in the hope of getting a decent ride after struggling financially, relying on phone in competitions to help him stay in the championship.
Lets hope he stays free from injury, and gets some good results that will hopefully get him a factory bike in the very near future.
Its about time we had a Brit to cheer for.
