thanx for the advice last nite about cylinder heads,i actually ended up ordering it from milner off road as they came up with a kit which was the complete head(minus valves)complete gasket set for £600+vat which i thought was quite good,just hope its all back together by the end of the week,there web is www.milneroffroad.co.uk,by the way does anyone know the resale value of my surf ssrx,93' k plate,140ks,midnight blue,raised susspension,NEW HEAD and new m.o.t,reason being i want to get a newer one.

Why get a newer one yours sounds nice.
Now you are getting the head done ...should have no further problems.
