my mum and dad (80 and 72) make such a meal of it!! mother always manages to get in facing the wrong way, dad cant cope with the seatbelt clip. its an epic. every time. i am considering building a mounting block for them...
and this is a std height surf with just a little bit of but sag..
HeHe you need a raised kerb and drop suspension like the so called wheel
chair friendly busses, Then once their on you floor it and chuckle as they shoot to the back like the busses,
Normally no complaints from the wife, but at the moment she is finding it a bit hard- but then again she is 9 months pregnant and now 2 days overdue!!!!
My old dutch finds it easier getting up into the surf than she did getting down
into the seirra (so do i) She couldnt do without the step though, I never use
em, Could take my side off but it'd look a bit lop sided, Being disabled and
slow in her movements she does have an excuse for being awkward but it is
sometimes highly comicle to watch her hanging from the grab handles,
One day i can see her comeing off and dissapearing from view ( espeacally
if i loosen the screws)hehe
Just say to the WIFE! "The GIRLFRIEND never seams to struggle" Then RUN
LOL!
My mum loves my truck, she struggles to get in (4" lift, 33" tyres, no side steps...) but she never complains. My aunt (only a tad over 5ft) gave up trying to get in the drivers side (no grab handle) and had to go passenger side and slide over!
Anyone installed those very very cool automatic side-step things you see on the big American camper vans?
Ah, now my GF always complained about not being able to get in now I got 4" lift on 31's, so I fitted lovely rock sliders on it. Now, when they get wet she complains that they are slippery!
Mind you, they do hurt if you slip, something like kicking a scaffold pole with your shin!
'Ere J Tyson Welding, wheres that grippy stuff you were on about!
Tam moaned when the Runner was on saggy springs . With the 5" lift (3" springs + 2" reduced sag ) she has not even tried to get in . I want to lose the steps but I dare not at the mo .
