Ordered a brand new Radiator and two new rear shock absorbers for my truck on Friday afternoon from Toyota Oxford. Steve (my mate who is parts specialist there) called me today and said they are in. So will go up after work tomorrow and pick them up.
I forgot the exact figures. But I think I got the new rad for £280 and the rear shocks set me back £106 each. Prices INC of VAT.
Yes, I know what you are going to say about the shocks but I thought about getting some aftermarket shocks. But I like the Hard/Soft set up on my truck, so thought, in the end I would stay standard. If they are the originals, then they have done very well considering the truck is 11 years old. The next job is front shocks and torsion bars. Then I am going to fit new discs, new front and rear shoes and replace the brake fluid.
I will get the small crack in the top tank repaired at a rad engineers, and sell it.
Will take some pictures of the shocks and radiator tomorrow, and post on here.
