I would not recommend that..... technically they are illegal, anything that obscures the drivers line of sight is !
Would work on the roof ok though, if your vehicle is long enough or your rods short enough.

I was going to say that the old bill wouldn't take kindly to that sort of fitting to a car.??

what i am trying to find is a method of transporting my rods around set up . I have see pics of surfs with enclosed rod pods on them and would even consider a roof rack with adapters . I was hoping as we have a number of piscatorials ( fishermen) some one may already have the answer

Do what plumbers do and strap a length of grey soil pipe to the roof and glue threaded ends on so you can store the rods in the pipe and screw on the covers.

But i like the blue beast..... the only ones i've seen with a sunroof are burgdandy ........i can't sink that low

Truck looks good...... and i've bookmarked the rod rack to look at tomorrow
