It's called the NERC bill. anyone who doesn't know about it already should be heading over to the green lanes association website or the TRF and find out about writting to their MP.

I used a few RUPPS while down in Somerset last Summer. The ones I went on seemed in remarkably good condition and didn't look abused.

One I used seemed to end in a farm yard and I was very apologetic to the farmer about having to turn round in his yard. He didn't seem at all put out and showed me the way through his yard to pick up the track again. He was telling me that if he didn't drive his Landrover and pickup along it occasionally it would have grown over.

I think it is about time we adopted some of these trails and got involved in their up-keep like they do in pats of the USA.

Or like they do in quite a bit of the UK - have a look at the TRF and GLASS websites, but like I say, if the NERC bill goes as it then you're off.

Why won't my PC play any video from a BBC web site?

I found that report intresting...it at least explains BOTH sides of the problem
We will soon be suffering the same problem here on salisbury plain due to the w*****s that can not keep to the rights of way and the byways that are remaining are being resurfaced which lessens them
