    Hi what does the idle up switch do and when do i use it? Ta

    makes it rev higher wen in park,to warm up the engine quicker.well thats what i use it for.

      Or if you have a winch fitted you can wind it up a bit when using the winch

                Also usefull when wading. if you use the idle up, then it reduces the risk of water comeing back up the exhaust if you take your foot of the throttle. Thats what it says in my handbook anyway.

                I always go through fords with my foot flat on the floor anyway.

                      The idle up cuts out when drive is selected, otherwise the truck would take off without you touching the throttle.
                      It's only a hobby!
