Macmillan 4x4 challenge 2006

Rick and I pay for the fuel and all other expenses unless some one says here is x amount to put towards your costs. The idea of getting longma to supply fuel would be great apart from the fact we are not allowed to carry spare fuel with us. If they would be interested in sponsoring us in any way I will be more than happy to have their details on the truck.

A bit of a rant

Ok , here we go . Rant time . We , Jon and I , have 5 weeks till the Mac challange . So far from the 6000 + members on here only 3 people have sponsored us . Thankyou to the 3 , you know who you are and we are very greatful to you . I know we have 6000 + members logged on here but possibley only 3000ish actual active members . All I (we) ask is if you can sponsor just a £1 each we will have a very good pot of money to give to Macmillan . We raised over £1500 last year , I want to beat that . One team raised over £5000 , I know we can't beat that but I want to get as near to it as possible . This event raises money for the charity but also gets the Forum and Surfs noticed aswell .This event costs us out of our own pockets , especially Jon . Every penny sponsored goes to the charity , so don't feel it we are benifiting from this .

I would like to say a big thank you to all that have sponsored us so far, we are still a fair way from our target but you can't always have what you want.
I believe that the Macmillan Nurses do a truly wonderful job not only caring for those dying of cancer but also helping their relatives cope.This is why I chose to help this charity.
It is a fact that one in three people in this country will suffer from some form of cancer.
