I had a Pajero produce almost the same effect when a valve head came off at 80 mph on the motorway fn awsome big cloud behind me..

Tought me a valuable lesson too,, if you buy a Pajero, start the engine at your own risk............

I thought it was one of the Paint Shop photo's at first.
It wasn't until I went to the American site (loads of photo's of planes) that I did read up on the this photo.
I thought it was a brill pic, considering how fast it must have been going and for the photo to be taken just at the right time to get the Halo around the aircraft.
