I use svo+derv and my mate has wvo that he settles, mixes with about 20% diesel and puts it in a old tea urn then warm filters it, he also has a veg therm fitted so that helps with inital warm up.

OK. i might try it then. Will have to research the WVO available and asses its quality first.

          Thanks for the pointers everyone.

That is the best thing to do. I have an old diesel generator engine which I guinea pig things
on like that. If you just keep an eye on things, it's worth a try.

As to your earlier question regarding damage level, simple answer depending upon quality
            of WVO:

(Good oil) ------------------------- no side effects
(Highly contaminated oil) ----- grind, clunk, seized

              OK.

Its pretty good news on the WVO front.

Checked my source. Oil changed every week, and as its a school, only a little cooking done! Also, one fryer is CHIPS ONLY due to allergies etc, so i will grab some of that i think and check it out.

              What do you think??
