Ebay or not ebay- that is the question?

Anyone got any ideas whether this is genuine or not?? Personally i think it's dodgey so i forwarded it to ebay.

If you send all that you posted to ebay and ask, they will tell you if it is genuine. I had a very odd email allegedly from them and it turned out to be a scam

Forward it to spoof@ebay.com they will tell if its real

they normally put your user name and full name in any mithers they send.
just to prove it is from them.

but then again, it is EBay after all!

Its a con, ebay never EVER send out messages say "Dear ebay member", they always address you by your user name.

Watch out for pfishing scams from both ebay and paypal.

They are very clever, and look exactly like the genuine thing.

The reason why I sussed them out was they went from https to http when asking for personal details.

Both would not ask for your data when http is shown, in fact neither ask for personal details.

One was from Paypal asking for payment for jewellery I had not asked for, the other was from ebay, asking to confirm details of my account and password as supposedly someone had reported ebay abuse against me!

Has not put me off using either, just be careful thats all mate!

Just to confirm to Kiowa, the links IN their site, not the ones TO their site. Allthough wasn't very clever of me i agree- didn't think they would still be active with a Control C motion!
