      Private sale probably £3000-£3800
Trade in, they'll want to make at least £300-£400, so I expect they will offer around £2500.

Most traders will tell you it's not worth much as it's an import, that it has a high mileage (despite being low for the year). They'll say they'll find it hard to sell it on, and will then make you some stupid offer like £1000-1500.

Unless you have some genuine dealers around Suffolk.

My mate bought a traded-in 4Runner, which the dealer paid £1200 for. 77k miles on the clock, lots of fancy bits. The owner just bought a brand new Cherokee so I doubt he really cared about how much the Runner was actually worth. Told him I'd give him 1500 for it but he said no. Git.
