    How much torque do the 3.0td's actually put down in the gen 2 surf's?

    Got this off a quick google search.....

    96kW@3600; 343Nm@2000rpm (130hp, 252ft/lb for Bushwacker! )

    Although 85@3600 and 295@2400rpm also comes up.

            These are probably flywheel figures, at the wheels will be less.

                    hehe, I know its 95ish HP, not sure about the torque, but its actually quite respectable compared to the HP.

                      i think its 89hp and around 190ft/lb i thiink although i seeemed to also think it had 220torque ish.

                          Seems that some people on this thread don't rate the 2.4 at all.
                          I've had mine for 2 and a half years, been all over Europe towing a big caravan, used it for towing huge trees out of a lake, offroaded in it, towed big trailers and horseboxes with it and it's been fab.

                          Thought it might have a bit more grunt than that though.Are there any official factory figures available anywhere for both the 3.0 and 2.4 models?
