BARGAIN!!!!!I paid £221.00 for 2,well worth it,brilliant on or off-road,beats going sideways on wet roundabouts,highly recommended,you get what you pay for and worth every hard earned penny.If BF Goodridge was a woman I would marry her and have her children.I would have gladly paid double what I paid 4 times over,I think we should have a national BF Goodridge day.....................blah blah blah.....they are only tyres fer **** sake what difference does it make,get a friggin life!

Come on dudes, lets not fight about tyres!! At the end of the day you get what you pay for. If you want to spend £40 on a tyre made in china great, but don't expect it to last as long as a Michelin.

If you ask me, buying cheap, in anything you buy, is a false economy as you get what you pay for.

I have a set of Michelin XCL's on my Defender. They were made especially for the British Army to fit to this vehicle. I've done thousands of miles on them and they still have loads of tread left on them, even though they look like motocross tyres. See pic.

So, the more you pay, the better quality you are buying. You can't buy a good quality truck tyre for £40. Expect to pay over £100 each for a good quality tyre of that size.

The point I was making until I was rudely told to get a life, is that there is no need to spend hundreds of pounds on tyres, and some people simply cannot afford those prices, so I was indicating that there are cheaper options for people.
But, if people want to spend hundreds of pounds paying for a name they are free to do so, just dont mock those that cannot.

Get over it, its just the Internet. Who mocked anyone who can't afford tyres? can't see it anywhere in this thread, no one even argued with you that BFG's are actually worth the money, which in my opinion they are.

Well I guess it all comes down to how you interpret text, it also comes down to not subscribing to a clique. I read nearly all the daily new postings in their entirety and you can quite quickly work out who's mates with who and that there is a degree of leg pulling. Which I do not have any issue with, but I fail to see why I have to tolerate being told to get a life.

Come on mate, we are all friends on hear. I've had abuse on here, who hasn't at some point. But the only reason you are getting told to "get a life" is because you are biting harder than a Great White.

Everyone has a view on things, the same as you had a view on people that had been "had" because they spent quite a lot of money on some tyres. Just forget about it, and write some more posts about something totally different. And before you say I am in the club with everyone else, I haven't met one person from this forum in person.
