I am interested in buying a Surf.
Only thing is I dont know anything about them.
Anyone out there with a buyers guide.
I have seen a J reg 2.5 Surf advertised locally to me.
What should I look for.
What do you get in a surf, what do they do to the gallon, are the expensive to run?

Any info would be great.

hi and welcome.just look for what you would look for in any other motor
make sure everything works if you go for a test drive find somewhere loose to try the 4w/d and if it has had a new head fitted then make sure you have paperwork to prove it.I get about 23mpg out of my 2.4
If you want a real bargain take a look in the for sale section at Pops or Dunno,s 2.4,s they are up for 2k each
