Vegoil, Spain, ZX12R

Heading down to Spain with my surf and ZX12R for some track days at christmas. Irish ferries on strike so I will have to go through the UK.
I will do about 5000kl
I am tempted to use vegoil, 20% in northern europe and increase to 50% if it runs well and the climate is warmer. We will be driving non stop so no cold starts.
I wonder what is the law in France and Spain regarding vegoil ?
I have a 94 3.0 which runs perfect and 24 mpg.

Oils are described as huile de tournesol(sunflower oil) huile d'olive (olive oil) etc.I would just get the cheapest on offer at any supermarket.
At the moment veg oil is about 48pence per litre and diesel is about 70 pence a litre. You will find that diesel is much cheaper in Spain so no cash advantage with veg oil.
By the way,it is pretty cold here in France and unless you are getting well down in Spain it is also coolish.

THANKS FOR USEFULL RESPONSE.
I am going to Cartagena, I gone at xmas for the last few years and the weather in the south is OK, bit chilly in the evening. I want to try oil just to see what the fuss is about. I have to try and fit the ZX12 into the back, save the hassle of a trailer. By the way Irish ferries are running again.
