surfing and waving..

Gentlefolk,

ok, now I am in shock and have not been able to concentrate since getting in.

B4477 direction of Minster Lovell from Brize Norton.

Who drove past this afternoon in a dark coloured (rather dusty) 2nd gen surf with clear rear light clusters and a rear slung spare... and...




WAVED, and FLASHED.....!

You could have stopped and had some tea... maybe even some biscuits...

It wasn't me but....

Do Surf owners wave when they see another surf going past?

In my bothers VW Scirocco, we always exchanged beeps, flashes and waves with other scirocco's.

In my Skyline all hell breaks loose when you see another one as they're so rare!

However I've tried 3 times, with no response from the other drivers since having the surf. Is this common, or is it just the miserable cheshire buggers?

I understand that one is supposed to acknowledge by some means or another..


I am usually so tired that its all I can do to concentrate on driving, and it doesn't usually register until person has passed by...

The reason I posted this, is its the second time I have had a positive acknowledgement, and lost of flashing and waving.

I feel that one should, and try to myself.
