Gearbox Woes!!!!

OK, the Smurf is in Morrisons carpark in Rhyl awaiting the recovery truck-the Gearselector is jammed in "park" and there is a warning on the dash that says-"AT/P".............Discuss!!!!! !

looks like it could be related to 4wd selector lever position?

Ta for that-I have tried the HiLO selector but the worrying thing is that the Gear selector is firmly stuck in Park and is refusing to budge.....Semtex may be the only way of moving it

Have you tried pushing the red button near the gear selector and moving the lever? Has your tail light fuse blown? The solenoid that releases the gearshift from park is energised when you put your foot on the brake. No juice = no release.
