  • what wedding car/truck...?

Having sorted Lotties transport to our wedding (a brand new Bentley) I've been trying to think of cool transport I could turn up in - my friends will be expecting something out of the ordinary so shame to disappoint!

I've been thinking along the lines of some kind of seriously jacked up truck or hiring something a bit special for the weekend which me and my bro can have a bit of a play in the day after. Anyone got any 'unusual' ideas - or does anyone know where you can hire big trucks (with driver). We are getting married in the Tunbridge Wells area.

yes but one of them is yours...?! I'm having problems convincing Lottie that if we lifted the SDV 4" then I could save money on hiring one...

My brother and the best man arrived in WW2 dispatch riders bike with a sidecar. Sister In Law and the bridesmaids turned up in a WW2 Willis Jeep. Transport from the church to the reception for guests was a WW2 American truck (with a V8 engine) and a fully restored Bedford 3.5 ton truck of WW2 vintage.

They even got a flypast, with victory roll, from a Spitfire because one of their invited guests couldn't make it and he was on his way to do a display at an airshow. It is the most memorable of his weddings!!
                        It's only a hobby!
