Far too high for a 2.4 £3000 > £3500 look around

I agree far too much for a 2.4.
If your after a nice 2.4 check out Pop's ad in the forsale section.

Check fleabay , you can get a 3 litre for anything from £3500 - £5500.

£5K should get you a nice Mk2 3.0L- maybe even a MK3? I'd keep looking around.

Yep, way over the odds. An absolute minter sold from the garage down the road from me for 3k a few weeks ago. I'd be looking for a mint 3l for that money, and as someone else said, nearer 3 to 3 1/2 for a 2.4.

I paid £4250 for my 2.4 two years ago, 41,000 kms one previous UK owner.

They'll be much, much cheaper in 2012 though.
