          come on guys - 3"

Im just back from skiing near Huntly
and had to drive through over 12" of the stuff
road impassible to cars, and had to drive round verge to get past an abandoned lorry.

even in 4x4 mode, I was slithering a bit

main probem is these big fat tyres (255 width) - not good when the only other vechiles on road have been landies with narrow tyres! - fat tyres seem to be rubbish in the snow.
My Subaru forester, with narrow 205 snow tyres seemed to perform better in snow last night, and its easer going round tight bends on snow in the subaru as limited slip diff not locked diff!
