diff lock
i have noticed that some hilux have a diff lock on the front wheels and some dont .. any one know why ????

unless thinking of the ADD system?
that disconects the diff from the driveshaft when not in use... same as locking hubs really, just disconnects the other end.nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!Comment

With the hubs unlocked you can use low range on tarmac as you won't get windup.
Mine stay unlocked 95% of the time.Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.
