am i being a bit sloooooooooooooooow or is the "bend pipe and cable tie thing??" where does the bearing come in to it?? remember i am new.

Yep. just bend it in half and tie it, the same as stuffing a ball bearing up the pipe.

you can buy a ball bearing and stuff it up the pipe, or wrap it round and cable tie it, same thing only difference being one's free
