timing belt change

Hi,
Having just obtained my 2.4 1992 I am wondering about the timing belt. Of course there is no history with the vehicle so should I be having it changed as a precaution?

Its on 137000 KM

If i need to get it changed can anyone suggest a suitable venue in the Ilkley (leeds) area.

Yes It would be advisable to at least get it checked out, and changed if needed,and you may as well get the rest done while you are there and a full service. once its done and you know its been done the doubts just disapear.
As for where in the Leeds area sorry I cant help you there but I'm sure on of the local chapter will be along soon to help out.
